Job Summary
The role involves advising on banking, finance, and capital markets transactions, with a strong focus on energy, infrastructure, and power-related financing. The Senior Associate will work on loan market transactions, including financing structures across the oil and gas, power, and infrastructure sectors, and support complex, high-value deals from origination to completion.
Job Details
- Advise on banking and finance transactions, with a focus on energy, infrastructure, and power-related financing
- Work on loan market and capital markets transactions, including structured and project financing
- Support and lead financing deals across the oil and gas, power, and infrastructure sectors
- Draft, review, and negotiate financing agreements, security documents, and transaction documentation
- Provide legal support on project finance and infrastructure development transactions
- Collaborate closely with partners on complex, high-value, and often multi-party transactions
- Manage transaction processes from origination through execution and closing
- Liaise with clients, lenders, sponsors, and other advisers on deal execution
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and the ability to handle matters with minimal supervision
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to the growth of the practice group
Requirements
- Banking and finance experience with a focus on energy, infrastructure, oil & gas, or power
- Exposure to loan market and capital markets transactions
- Demonstrable transaction track record
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills
- 6–8 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE)
